Big Bang Update

Big apologies from your mods, but when we set up the schedule for this round, we did not anticipate to have RL come crashing down on us.

Two of your mods are also frantically trying to make the deadline for their own fic. Also with the lack of artists, it's fallen to me to do the art for those who do not have artwork yet. I also am also signed up to do NaNoWriMo starting on the 1st, which is going to be a struggle for me already.

With all that in mind, we again apologize, but here is how things are going to hopefully go:
November 15th - all final drafts are due and a posting schedule will be set for the same week. Let us know here if you have any dates that would not be good for you to post.

Also, because of the small number of completed stories we will have, do we want to still post on consecutive days? Or space them apart by a few days? Or one fic a week? Anyone with an opinion is welcome to reply, but we will be weighing replies by the authors who do have fic to post most in our final decision.

For those waiting for an artist, you will be getting an email from me within the next few days (or maybe even tonight). Or you can beat me to it and send me whatever you want to give me a good start on producing artwork over the next week or so. You can send me your fic, or more details than what is on the summaries we have posted, and if you have something in mind that you would like to see. If by chance you have a preference of a banner over cover, or something else, let me know. I'm going to try my best to give everyone a banner, cover and icon, but if time limits me, then you'll get at least a banner or cover along with an icon. My email is totally4ryo@hotmail.com .

If anyone has any questions that I didn't cover here, let us know. It may even be something we're not thinking of but should be.

I swear we'll get better at this. RL just decided to kick our butts and it's unfortunate that it has happened to all three mods. If nothing else, I really would love for us to have a Holiday challenge to plan for, but more on that in a later post. Until then, start thinking about what you would like to see for the challenge.

The later the posting the better. I'm also struggling to finish in time. Hopefully these two extra weeks will be enough. *I'm crossing my fingers I'll be done! though at the latest it will be the end of November I should be done. This weekend is shot for me getting anything done since it's con weekend and I'm meeting the main man again. Hopefully he'll give some inspiration to finish.

I'm also stuck in a title for mine. 15k words in and I'm clueless for a title.

If we go for one fic a week posting, that could push you toward the end of the month if you need it. If we don't, we can still work on you for the best posting schedule. If you or anyone else need more time, you got it. We're already off schedule but if someone is working on getting their story finished, we'll find a good posting time for you. :)

If wish I could say I had a con to go to this weekend - I was planning on it. I would have loved to have seen Gareth on my birthday, but that's not happening. At least I got to see John again at SD Comic Con. Give our boy and big hug for me. And don't forget to point us to links for pictures! Most of all - have lots of fun!

I almost forgot - send me something to start plotting your artwork. :)

Oh you have no idea how happy I am to hear about the push back, I broke my ribs and it's been tough trying to finish my story under heavy pain medication.

I do like the idea of one fic a week but whatever you guys decide will be fine with me.

OMG lady! I hope you mend quickly but you do need to take care of yourself first. As I said above, we'll work with you, so when you're able to post, you'll post.

So far it looks like a a fic a week, but it's not set until I hear from others.

When you get a chance send me something so I can start plotting out your artwork so I can have that ready for you too. :)

Due to various stuff there is no way my fic is going to be ready posting in time as getting the other half of it written in the next a couple of weeks I know doesn't have a chance of happening. So sorry for the late notice, but I'm going to drop out.
