Author's Note: This is the story of how Toshiko Sato found out that Ianto is a dragon. It takes place a couple of weeks after Toshiko joins Torchwood. This, of course, takes place after In The Cards and before Dealing With Changes.
Notes on Dating: It’s not really stated when exactly Tosh started with Torchwood, so I’m guessing along with using information from the TARDIS Index File website, which states (according to “Fragments”) that Toshiko was arrested five years before the events in “Fragments”, which took place sometime in 2008 (original airdate: 26 March 2008). That would have put her arrest at sometime in 2003, and since nothing previously was said about her five year contract being up, I’m taking this to mean that it hasn’t quite been five years yet, and so I'm guesstimating that the date is late 2003.
Summary: Toshiko Sato knows there's something about Ianto Jones, and one night she finds out what it is.
