Title: Children Of The Past. 06/24
Fandom: Torchwood/Doctor who universe
Chapter 06: City Tour
Character: The immortal Captain once named Jack Harkness and Ethan.
Rating: NC-17 to be on the safe side.
Warnings: Mention of child abuse – rape – violence – and torture. Nothing explicit, though.

Summary of the previous chapter: While Doctor Ifan Harkness is finding out about children confiscated in slavery case being clones, Ethan left alone in a huge city need to kill time while waiting for his master.

Plot: After the events of COE, Jack Harkness left Earth and Torchwood, and at end of the 43rd century is still wandering. About to spend a holiday with friends, the Captain finds himself buying a slave, acting on a strange impulse he just can’t bring himself to understand. Regardless, he now has to face the consequences, and also deal with some very strange events that will unbury memories long repressed.

Author’s note: This is not a Fix-it fic. It’s a mystery investigation, a love-story, a thriller, and an action fic. It’s also setting up a new world and all of the elements I will use later to bring back Ianto.
