Hello, everyone!
First of all, an apology for getting things started a bit later than planned. But here we go, the second round of the Long Live Ianto Big Bang is starting!
The rules are simple: your fic needs to be a minimum of 10,000 words, and must fit into the theme of the comm...that is, it must contain a version of our dear Ianto that is immortal/very long-lived. Any type of Ianto along those lines are welcome: Elves, Dragons, Wizards, Demons, or just your garden variety Immortal, anything goes!
The time-line is:
Sign-ups start now and end July 1st
Check-in on July 24th, that's when you would email us a copy of your detailed summary for the artist claims.
Final stories and art due on October 1st.
October 8th....posting begins!

The Type of Long Lived Ianto: Immortal Ianto
Brief Summary: After the events in The Road Not Taken (http://iantojjackh.livejournal.com/61009.html), Ianto moves back home with children. Jack is there to help Ianto every step of the way, but will his heart open to Jack once again? What about the Harkins when they realise their grandchildren are out of reach? And who is killing Canary Wharf survivors?

sequel to the Doctor's Son (title of this will be The Time-Lord's Brother) - Ianto and Jack are married and living in the 51st century. The Eleventh Doctor decides it's time to repair his relationship with his son and son-in-law....and everyone learns something very surprising.

Brief Summary: River Song knew what was coming and there was no way she was chancing her son to be discovered by the Master, plus she wanted to see how far and long Jack would search to find Ianto.
Any other notes you'd like to add: This is more than likely going to be a Mpreg it's very important to the plot.

The Type of Long Lived Ianto: Garden variety Immortal. ;-P
Brief Summary: Sequel to Thrice Blessed (which I need to finish soon!) - The Doctor arrives looking for Jack to help him on his latest venture, only to discover Jack is very pregnant. Ianto ends up going along with the Doctor instead. In the 51st century, they might unlock the mystery to Jack's two missing years.
Any other notes you'd like to add: Only that I decided to split Thrice Blessed up into several stories and this will be the 2nd part.

Date: 2013-06-02 08:28 am (UTC)I'm debating between the fic being a sequel to the one linked with flashbacks of Ianto's life on the dragon planet or just starting fresh while using the idea in the fic (i.e. back story and then ending where Ianto joins Torchwood 3). So, I have ideas. :D

The Type of Long Lived Ianto: Techically Ghost!Ianto, but is more complicated than that. He's something more like Bilis Manger.
Brief Summary: Once Jack had left the House of the Dead pub, Ianto went to the backdoor and then, throwing the rocks that would close the Rift back in behind, left.
Stepping out onto an alien world (because after all the Rift has two ends, one fixed in Cardiff and one that can be anywhere in time and space), Ianto soon realises that he isn't exactly human anymore.
Worried about what state Jack is in given that he'd tried to blow up the Rift with himself in it, Ianto sets out to find him.
Any other notes you'd like to add. This is definitely going to be an nc17 rated fic, with a hurt/comfort theme, with hurt Jack and what are probably some rather disturbing moments.

Type and summary, I'm having a bit of trouble deciding. I'll either finish off my NaNo from last year, which was a response to a Bingo prompt (yeah, that got a bit out of hand. Another one is going to be this year's NaNo), write a sequel to my Timelord!Ianto series, or write a sequel to my JourneyStory Big Bang from last year (the year before?).
