longliveiantoUse this post to rec your favorite fics that keep in style of the comm. We only ask one thing of you when you rec - please put the type of fic it is in the subject line (ie: immortal Ianto, vampire Ianto, telepathic Ianto, etc.). Tag if you want, but if you don't we'll go back and tag according to your subject line.
At some point, if we have enough recs, we'll do a master list sorted by the type of long living Ianto fic.

Date: 2010-03-29 05:03 am (UTC)Nothing against your fic, 'cause I think it's wonderful that Jack and Ianto got 60 years together and that's beautiful. :D It's just after this summer, permanent death fics, no matter how much times goes by still makes me upset. I'm sure there's enough warning here by now, that if someone wants to read it, they know what to expect.

I think this was the very first fic I ever read in the fandom and it's still the one I go back and re-read. There are hints that Ianto may be part Time Lord, he has some connection to the 'fairies' - which ultimately is what brings him back from the dead.
It's a beautifully written story that, in my opinion, if you're a fan of Ianto, you need to have read this fic.
